EU Force news

Investing in people always yields more than it costs
Investing in people always yields more than it costs

Why cheap often turns out expensive

In today’s labour market, it is tempting to focus mainly on hourly rates. Yet time and again it becomes clear that the cheapest solution is rarely the best.

Those who cut corners on the quality of staff, guidance, or housing often pay for it later, sometimes twice over, through turnover, loss of productivity, and frustration on the work floor.

At EU Force we see it every day: investing in people pays off. Not only for the employee, but especially for the client.

The real costs of turnover

When an employee leaves early, it costs more than just filling a new vacancy. Think of:

Time and money for recruitment and onboarding.

Loss of productivity due to lower efficiency in the first weeks.

Additional workload for experienced colleagues.

And not to forget: loss of knowledge and stability.

Research shows that the replacement costs for one employee can rise to 50% of an annual salary. In other words: investing in retention is far more cost-effective than starting over again and again.

Invest 10% more, achieve 100% better results

An investment of, for example, an extra 10% in the right conditions, better housing, clear communication, fair pay, and personal guidance, pays back immediately.

The result:

Higher job satisfaction → employees are more motivated.

Less turnover → lower recruitment and onboarding costs.

Higher productivity → better work and fewer mistakes.

More continuity → stable staffing and satisfied clients.

In short: quality may cost a bit more, but it delivers structurally better results.

How EU Force invests in this

We believe that investing in people is the foundation for business success. That is why we make sure everything is in place:

SNF-certified housing with privacy and peace of mind.

Clear explanation in advance so employees know what to expect.

Weekly payments and correct administration in line with NBBU standards.

Regular guidance to maintain engagement and satisfaction.

Thanks to this approach, we have low turnover and satisfied employees who stay longer and perform better.

Conclusion: Happy People, Happy Business

Good employment practice is not a cost item, but an investment in stability and quality.

An employee who feels valued pays back twice over, in productivity, loyalty, and continuity.

At EU Force we see it every day:

Those who invest in people, invest in success.

Good employment practice starts with genuine attention
Good employment practice starts with genuine attention

Why attention makes the difference

In a time when it is difficult to find and retain staff, everything comes down to one thing: how you treat people.

At EU Force, we see every day that employees perform better and stay longer when they feel seen and valued. That does not start with contracts or rules, but with respect and genuine interest.

People want more than just work

A job is important, but it is not everything. Especially for employees who come to work in another country, there is more to it: feeling welcome, knowing what is expected of them, and having a sense of security.

When someone feels that they matter, there is room for growth, responsibility, and motivation.

The result?

Employees who go to work with pleasure.

Less turnover and sickness absence.

A better atmosphere on the work floor.

This is not just a theory, but a proven reality that we see every day with our clients.

Attention in practice

Treating people well means more than a friendly word. It means giving clear explanations, being available for questions, and ensuring the basics are right: correct pay, a safe working environment, and decent housing.

At EU Force, we make sure every employee:

Receives clear instructions before arrival.

Receives personal support during their stay.

Has good living conditions, with peace and privacy.

We regularly check whether everything is still going well. Not only because we have to, but because we believe attention is the key to quality.

The effect on the workplace

Companies that invest in human contact notice it immediately.

An engaged employee thinks along, feels responsible, and represents your organisation with pride.

Conversely, indifference leads to dissatisfaction, mistakes, and turnover.

A small effort can make a big difference. An honest conversation, a listening ear, or a sign of appreciation can increase productivity more than any bonus.

Our belief: Happy People, Happy Business

At EU Force, everything revolves around this principle. We believe good employment practice starts with respect and attention.

When employees feel valued, they deliver better work, stay longer, and contribute to a positive working atmosphere.

By investing in people, you invest directly in the quality and continuity of your business.

Satisfied employees are the strongest foundation for satisfied clients.

Conclusion

At its core, temporary employment is people work. Technology, certification, and planning are important, but the real difference is made by how you treat people.

Whether it is a production worker, a mechanic, or a forklift driver. Everyone wants to be treated with respect and to feel that their work matters.

At EU Force, we make this a reality every day, because we believe every successful collaboration starts with genuine attention.

Happy People, Happy Business.

The new licensing requirement for temporary employment agencies (WTTA): what does this mean for you?
The new licensing requirement for temporary employment agencies (WTTA): what does this mean for you?

Why new rules are being introduced

The Dutch government is working on a new law: the Act on the Admission of Temporary Agency Work (WTTA).

This law is intended to ensure that only reliable and carefully operating temporary employment agencies are allowed to supply workers.

The reason is clear: in recent years, too many agencies have operated without properly complying with rules, pay conditions, or housing standards. This has led to unfair competition and poor experiences for both employers and workers.

The government wants to change this by introducing a licensing requirement: only agencies that meet strict quality requirements will be allowed to supply workers.

What does this mean for clients?

For employers, this means they will soon only be allowed to work with licensed agencies.

This is positive news because it provides certainty. You will know that every approved agency operates according to clear standards: correct wage payments, safe housing, fair contracts, and compliance with laws and regulations.

Working with a licensed agency therefore means:

Lower risk: no liability for mistakes made by fraudulent parties.

More continuity: motivated employees stay longer.

More trust: all processes are verified and transparent.

What does this mean for employees?

This is also a positive change for employees.

The licensing requirement ensures that you will only be able to work through agencies that comply properly with the rules. This means:

A fair salary, always paid on time.

Good and safe housing.

Correct contracts and clear agreements.

In short: the WTTA will ensure that your rights are better protected.

How EU Force is preparing

At EU Force, we are pleased with this development.

We have been working for years according to the standards that the WTTA will soon make mandatory. We are a member of the NBBU and hold SNA and SNF certifications, demonstrating that we meet high requirements in the areas of pay, administration, and housing.

For our clients and employees, nothing will really change, except that they will soon have even more certainty that they are working with a reliable and recognised agency.

Conclusion: certainty for everyone

The new licensing requirement will make the temporary employment sector fairer and more professional.

For clients, this means lower risk and more continuity.

For employees, it means better protection and greater certainty.

At EU Force, we have been working this way for years, because we believe quality and trust are the foundation for long-term cooperation.

That is what our philosophy stands for: Happy People, Happy Business.

Frequently asked questions

1. Through our recruiters:
We work with selected recruitment partners in Latvia and Lithuania. They receive a detailed job description, make an initial selection of suitable candidates, and forward them to us. We then conduct a video interview in English to carefully assess the candidate’s motivation and suitability.

2. Through online advertisements and job listings:
In addition, we post vacancies on social media and relevant job portals. Interested candidates apply directly with us, after which we also conduct a video interview in English to assess the match.

We do not guarantee delivery times, because quality always comes first for us. We want to avoid presenting an employee who is not the right fit. We would rather wait until we have the right match. However, we can provide an estimate of the timeline, depending on the role, the required experience, the salary, and other specific requirements.

We proactively reduce sickness absence by taking good care of our employees. Comfortable, high-quality housing with supervision of compliance with house rules contributes to satisfaction and low turnover. Upon arrival, employees receive clear instructions about expectations and the procedure for reporting sick. Thanks to this approach, our absenteeism rate is below 2%.

We actively recruit in Latvia and Lithuania, but we are also open to candidates from other EU countries.
