CE Driver – Entertainment Industry

Hours
Full Time
Location
Zeeland
Salary
€ 18,71

Touring across Europe with concert and theatre equipment, then helping build the stage the moment you arrive. As a CE driver in the entertainment industry, you're far more than a driver — you're the vital link between the artist and the audience. Ready for a job that's never the same twice?

Where you will work:

You'll be joining an organisation specialised in transport and logistics for the entertainment industry — moving stage sets, lighting and sound equipment for concerts and theatre productions across the Netherlands and Europe. The team consists of experienced drivers who thrive on the dynamics of touring: tight schedules, changing locations, and close collaboration with the crew on site. The atmosphere is informal and no-nonsense, with everyone pitching in to make sure every show starts on time. You'll work independently on the road, while always being part of a close-knit team that knows exactly what it takes to keep a show running smoothly.

What you will do:

As a CE driver, you're the driving force behind every show. You make sure the set, lighting and sound equipment for concerts and theatre productions arrives safely and on time — both within the Netherlands and abroad. Your job doesn't end behind the wheel: on arrival, you actively help build the stage so the show can start on schedule. Once the build is done, you wait until the performance ends, then help strike the set and reload everything. From there, you either drive on to the next location or sleep in the cab, depending on the tour schedule. No two days look the same — one moment you're in the middle of a build, the next you're on the road to the next stop. This role calls for flexibility: your hours and days shift with the artist's or theatre company's tour schedule, and you may sometimes be away from home for several months at a time. In return, you get a unique behind-the-scenes look at the entertainment industry, working across changing locations throughout Europe.
