Where you will work:
You'll join a specialized technical service company in the maritime sector, focused on the maintenance and repair of diesel engines for shipping. The company works both on board vessels on location and in its own workshops and harbour facilities, serving customers in the Netherlands and abroad. What you will do:
As a Diesel Service Technician, you're responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of diesel engines aboard inland vessels. You'll work on location at the customer's site, on board, in the harbour, or in one of the workshops — variety is part of every working day. You diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure engines run at their best again. You're also the customer's point of contact for maintenance and advice on their diesel engine. You work both independently and as part of a team, and travel regularly to different locations in the Netherlands and abroad. Precision and craftsmanship are central to everything you do.

What we offer:

€18–20 gross per hour, depending on experience

8% holiday allowance, paid weekly

Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer

What we ask:
- Technical background and affinity with mechanical engineering, engine or marine technology
- Experience with diesel engines (e.g. Cummins and/or Scania) is a plus
- Service-oriented, customer-friendly attitude and an independent work ethic
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel, including evenings and weekends
