As an electrical assembly technician, you make sure electrical products leave the workshop complete and correctly connected. You assemble components and transformers, and you wire control cabinets and control panels according to schematics and drawings. No two products are the same, so your work is varied. When something doesn’t add up, you think it through and solve faults during assembly yourself. After assembly you carry out quality checks and test procedures to make sure everything works as it should. You work with your colleagues in the workshop to meet production targets. With the right qualifications, you can also take on transformer testing. It’s precision work, and at the end of the day you can see what you’ve built.
