Team leader - Chicken Factory

Je gaat werken bij een grote en stabiele producent in de voedingsindustrie, met honderden medewerkers. In deze fabriek worden géén kippen geslacht; het bedrijf verwerkt aangeleverde producten tot hoogwaardige eindproducten voor de voedselindustrie.

De organisatie werkt met moderne productielijnen en produceert dagelijks grote volumes voor internationale klanten. De focus ligt op kwaliteit, voedselveiligheid en efficiëntie.

As a Team Leader, you are responsible for one or more production lines and manage a team on a daily basis. You provide direct leadership to operators and indirectly to a larger group of production staff. You ensure that production planning is met and that everything runs according to the set quality and safety standards.

You are active on the shop floor, coaching employees and ensuring that everyone knows what is expected. In addition, you are involved in improving processes and solving problems in collaboration with the technical department.

You also analyze production results, such as yield, downtime, and quality, and report on these to the production manager. You play a key role in optimizing production and managing the team.

You work in a 2-shift system and have a responsible role within the organization.

• Managing and coaching operators and production staff
• Monitoring production planning and results
• Optimizing processes and solving breakdowns
• Analyzing production data and reporting
• Overseeing quality, safety, and hygiene

Financial conditions:

• Gross hourly wage: €21.26 including shift allowance of 12.5%
• Extra ADV allowance of 5.77% on the first 40 hours
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)

Other conditions:

• Weekly payment
• 24 vacation days per year (based on full-time)
• Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pensionable salary
• Minimum 40 hours per week (structurally ±45 hours)
• Travel expenses reimbursement (€0.18/km, max. €9 per day)

For this position, we are looking for a strong leader with experience in production environments. You know how to manage people and are responsible for results.

• You have at least 2 years of experience as a team leader (preferably in food)
• You have strong leadership skills
• You work in a structured and results-oriented manner
• You are strong in communication and take responsibility
• You are available for work in 2 shifts
• You speak good Dutch and/or English
