As a Test Specialist, you support and perform high-power electrical tests that verify the safety and performance of electrical components. You work with advanced test installations where short-circuit tests and other high-power measurements are conducted.
Together with test engineers and other specialists, you ensure that tests are correctly prepared, measurement systems function properly, and installations operate safely. The role combines technical testing, installation preparation, and measurement activities. Additionally, you contribute to the improvement of equipment and test procedures through small technical projects — and act as a technical contact during tests, including towards customers when necessary.
Once every five weeks, you work a night shift, for which you receive an average allowance of 12% to 14% on all hours.
Tasks:
- Performing short-circuit tests and high-power test programs
- Preparing and assembling measurement setups and test installations
- Conducting precise electrical measurements during test procedures
- Supporting test engineers in complex test operations
- Maintaining and repairing test installations and measurement equipment
- Working on own projects such as calibration, safety improvements, and R&D support
