Where you will work:

You will be working at a specialized metalworking company in the Waspik region. This is not a mass production company — it is about customization. The orders are diverse and the products are made for customers in various sectors, including the food industry, interior construction, mechanical engineering, and frame construction.

The company primarily works with thin stainless steel and aluminum and has laser cutting as its core activity, supplemented with edging, setting, and welding. Quality and precision are paramount — each product is made with attention to detail.

It is a well-organized work environment where craftsmanship is valued, and you as an experienced edge operator can immediately make your mark.

What you will do:

As a CNC Bending Machine Operator, you are responsible for independently setting up and operating the bending machine. You will receive a technical drawing and fully translate it into a set machine and a final product that meets the exact specifications. You set up the machine from scratch — without pre-programmed default settings for repetitive orders.

The products change regularly, which means you need to be flexible, quick to adapt, and able to read the drawing well. After a short training period, you are expected to work independently. You will be working with thin stainless steel, which requires precision and a feel for the material.

This is a position for an experienced bending machine operator who enjoys variety and challenge, and who takes pride in the final product that leaves their hands.

Tasks:

  • Independently setting up the CNC bending machine based on technical drawings
  • Manufacturing custom metal products in thin stainless steel
  • Checking final products for dimensions and quality
  • Resetting the machine for new orders
  • Maintaining the daily schedule and handling materials carefully
What we offer:

Financial conditions:

  • Gross hourly wage between €18.50 - 21.00 (depending on experience)
  • 5% ADV allowance on the first 39 hours
  • 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
  • Travel allowance €0.23 per km

Other conditions:

  • Weekly payment
  • 25 vacation days per year (based on full-time)
  • Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pensionable salary
  • Fixed workweek of 39 hours, no overtime
  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:15 – 16:45, Friday 07:15 – 12:00

Extra services (optional):

  • Housing with private bedroom possible
  • Health insurance possible
What we ask:
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrable experience as a CNC bending machine operator
  • Able to set up the bending machine completely independently from a technical drawing
  • Experience with thin stainless steel is a plus
  • Meticulous work attitude with attention to quality and dimensions
  • Good command of the Dutch and/or English language (spoken)
