Logistic Worker – Steel Warehouse

Je komt te werken bij een gespecialiseerde groothandel in roestvast staalproducten, gevestigd in Helmond. Het bedrijf is onderdeel van een Europese groep en is dé specialist op het gebied van buizen, fittingen, flenzen en stafmateriaal in roestvast staal — met meer dan 20.000 unieke artikelen op voorraad.

As a Warehouse Employee, you are involved in the physical handling of goods in the internal flow of goods. You receive, collect, store, and ship goods from the warehouse and ensure that everything is processed and transported to the customer in the correct manner.

You perform control activities, process simple administrative tasks, and work closely with drivers in handling freight documents. In doing so, you pay attention to the quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing goods. You work with automated systems and internal transport means, for which safety and accuracy are essential.

The position requires someone who can work independently and in a team, shows initiative, and is flexible.

Duties:

• Receiving, storing, collecting, and shipping goods
• Performing quality and quantity checks on goods
• Processing freight documents and simple administration
• Checking attached documents such as bills of lading and storage and shipping attachments
• Working with automated warehouse systems
• Keeping the work environment clean and maintaining work materials

Financial conditions:

• Gross hourly wage of €15.12
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km

Other conditions:

• Weekly payment
• 25 vacation days per year (based on full-time)
• Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pensionable salary
• Minimum 40 hours per week
