You know how to read a schematic and wire a switchboard. As an Electrical Technician, you will work on the assembly of transformers and control panels at a company with over 100 years of craftsmanship. Technically challenging work, close to home and for the long term.

Where you will work:

You will be working for a specialized manufacturer of transformers and electrical components, located in Etten-Leur. The company has been in existence for over 100 years and supplies products to customers in various sectors — from maritime and offshore to railways, mechanical engineering, and (semi-)governments.

The organization designs and produces a wide range of transformers, chokes, switchboards, and related electrical systems. Quality, precision, and innovation are central. It is a stable work environment with a motivated team where craftsmanship is valued and there is room for personal development.

What you will do:

As an Electrical Technician, you are responsible for the precise assembly and connection of electrotechnical components and transformers. You read electrical diagrams and technical drawings and translate these into correctly cabled switchboards and control panels.

You perform quality checks and test procedures and work together with colleagues to meet production targets. The role requires precision, a keen eye for safety, and the willingness to continue developing in a field that is constantly evolving.

Tasks:

  • Assembling and mounting electrotechnical components and transformers
  • Connecting and wiring switchboards and control panels
  • Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and technical drawings
  • Performing quality checks and test procedures
  • Identifying and solving technical problems during assembly
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve production targets
  • If qualified: testing the transformers
What we offer:

Financial conditions:

  • Gross hourly wage of €18.00 - €21.00
  • 5% ADV allowance for the first 38 hours
  • 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
  • Travel expenses reimbursement of €0.23 per km

Other conditions:

  • Weekly payment
  • 25 vacation days per year (based on full-time)
  • Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pension basis
  • Minimum 38 hours per week

  • Health insurance possible
What we ask:
  • Education or work experience in electrical engineering or a similar technical field
  • Extensive experience in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams
  • Hands-on experience with assembly and wiring of electrical components
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations
  • Problem-solving skills and willingness to continue learning
  • Good command of Dutch and/or English language (oral and written)
