CNC bending operator – Stainless steel

You will be working for a specialized manufacturer of stainless steel products in Oosterhout. The company develops and produces everything in-house — from standard products to custom solutions — and serves clients in the construction and infrastructure sector.

The production environment is modern and well-equipped. The company uses new machines and digital work orders. It is a company with a close-knit team culture of approximately 70 employees, 55 of whom are in production, that actively invests in the development of its people.

As a CNC Press Brake Operator, you will operate press brakes and a swing bending machine. You will set up the machines, create and modify programs, and process products based on digital work orders with 2D and 3D drawings. Programming is part of your role but only takes up a small portion of your time.

You will work with stainless steel sheet material up to 2700 mm in length and 3 mm in thickness, with tolerances up to 0.1 mm. Series are small — usually a maximum of 10 pieces — which keeps the work varied. You will retrieve materials from the warehouse yourself using the forklift and regularly switch between machines. You will work in a 2-shift system with handover between shifts.

Tasks:

• Setting up and operating CNC press brakes and a swing bending machine
• Creating and modifying programs based on digital work orders and drawings
• Processing stainless steel sheet material in small series with tight tolerances
• Changing tools and performing quality checks
• Retrieving materials from the warehouse using the forklift
• Collaborating with colleagues from the welding and assembly department

Financial conditions:

• Gross hourly wage of €17,00 - €22,16 (including shift allowance of 14%)
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km

Other conditions:

• Weekly payment
• 25 vacation days per year (based on full-time)
• Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pensionable salary
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Working hours: early shift 06:00-14:45 / late shift 14:30-22:30
• After 1,040 hours worked, possibility of a permanent contract with the client

• Experience with CNC bending is a strong advantage — starters with the right attitude are also welcome
• Willing to work in a 2-shift system
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings (2D and 3D)
• Meticulous work attitude with attention to quality and tolerances
• Forklift certificate is an advantage — if not present, this will be arranged
• Good command of Dutch and/or English language (oral and written)
• Own housing required
