As an Agricultural Mechanic, you will primarily work in the workshop to maintain, repair, modify, inspect, and prepare agricultural machinery and GPS equipment for delivery. You will work on complex systems that require both mechanical engineering and electrical knowledge - think of hydraulics, drive technology, sensor technology, and electrical control systems.
You work independently and know what you are doing. You are only satisfied when the machine is working properly again and the customer can move on. For those who want to and demonstrate the ability, there are opportunities in the long term to also work off-site at customer locations.

- Diagnosing faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Conducting inspections and preparing machines for delivery
- Working with diagnostic software and electronic systems
- Accurately recording performed tasks
- Collaborating with colleagues and advising customers on technical questions
