Logistic worker – Plant-based Food Production

You drive the forklift or reach truck as if it were an extension of yourself, but switch just as easily to physical work when necessary. As a Logistics Employee, you are responsible for loading, unloading, and preparing goods at an innovative producer of plant-based food products. 40 hours spread over 4 working days — no weekend shifts.

You will be working for an innovative producer of plant-based meat substitutes, located in Udenhout. The company develops and produces next-generation plant-based products for the European market and distinguishes itself through a unique and carefully developed production process.

It is a relatively young, driven organization that is in full development. Quality, innovation, and sustainability are central. The work atmosphere is informal and involved — everyone contributes directly to the final product that ends up in supermarkets and with catering customers.

As a Logistics Associate, you are responsible for loading and unloading goods, both via the loading dock and at the back of trucks, in pallet format. A significant part of the job involves operating a forklift or reach truck — if you do not yet have a certificate, you can obtain it through us. Additionally, the role includes physical tasks: not everything is done via the truck; manual work is also frequently required.

You will communicate with drivers during loading and unloading, prepare materials for production, and correctly record incoming inventory. You will keep the inventory organized and be flexible to perform other logistics tasks that arise throughout the day.

Tasks:

• Loading and unloading goods via dock or back (pallet format)
• Operating a forklift and reach truck
• Performing physical, manual loading and unloading tasks
• Communicating with drivers during the loading and unloading process
• Preparing materials for production
• Recording and maintaining the inventory

• Gross hourly wage: €16.50
• ADV allowance: 5.77% (€0.95 per hour)
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel expenses reimbursement of €0.23 per km
• Weekly payment
• 24 vacation days per year (based on full-time)
• Pension accrual: 23.4% of the pension basis
• 40 hours per week, spread over 4 days (Monday to Thursday, 06:00-17:00)

• Forklift and/or reach truck certificate is a plus - if not available, we will arrange it
• Physically capable and willing to work manually in addition to truck work

• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language
