Do you enjoy hands-on work and want to literally contribute to one of the Netherlands' most beloved treats? For a location in Gilze, we are looking for a production employee/operator for the stroopwafel line. From dough to packaged stroopwafel - you will be at the heart of the entire process. Day shift, a permanent team, and plenty of structure.

 

Where you will work:

You will be working at a production company in Gilze that produces stroopwafels. It is a close-knit work environment where quality is paramount and colleagues work well together. Work is done according to fixed procedures and with short lines of communication between the people on the floor.

What you will do:

As a production employee/operator, you operate production machines in the bakery and perform production activities according to established procedures. You turn dough, cook syrup, and place the dough in the portioning machine. You also monitor whether the carousel oven is working properly and resolve minor malfunctions yourself. You check the quality of the final product and contribute to a clean and hygienic work environment. At the end of the line, colleagues pick up the products from the line and pack them. You work in the day shift, from Monday to Friday, from approximately 07:00 to 15:30.

  • Operating production machines in the bakery
  • Turning dough and cooking syrup
  • Placing dough in the portioning machine
  • Monitoring the carousel oven and resolving minor malfunctions
  • Checking the quality of the final product
  • Contributing to a clean and hygienic work environment
What we offer:
  • Gross hourly wage:  €16.95 
  • 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
  • Travel allowance of € 0.23 per km
  • Weekly payment
  • 25 vacation days based on a full-time employment
  • Pension accrual of 23.4% of the pension base
  • 40 hours per week (from 07:00-15:30)

What we ask:
  • Work experience in the food industry, preferably as a baker or in an industrial bakery
  • Other relevant food experience (production, processing) is also welcome
  • Willing to start early
  • Accurate and reliable work attitude
  • Physically resilient
  • Good command of the Dutch and/or English language (spoken)
