Senior Steel Fitter/Welder

Are you a professional who takes on work independently and needs little guidance? For a technical company in the port of Rotterdam, we are looking for a senior construction fitter/welder and machine fitter. Craftsmanship, independence, and a close-knit team are central here.

You will be working for a technical company active in the petrochemical and offshore/maritime industry, specializing in constructions and piping. The company operates with small, closely-knit teams where good communication and craftsmanship are central. As an experienced professional, you will have the opportunity to further apply and deepen your knowledge and expertise.

As a senior construction fitter/machinist, you will carry out your daily tasks independently, using your own judgment and craftsmanship, with only limited supervision needed. You will focus on constructions and/or piping in the petrochemical and offshore/maritime industries, and weld using TIG and MIG/MAG techniques. Assignments are performed within the specified quality standards. Working in a small team requires good communication and being in sync with each other. You will work 38 hours per week, with flexible working hours between 07:00 and 15:30.

• Welding (TIG and MIG/MAG) and metalworking
• Working independently on constructions and/or piping
• Independently performing daily tasks, with limited supervision

• Gross hourly wage: € 15.20 - € 21.26 (depending on experience and level)
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel allowance of € 0.23 per km
• Weekly payment
• 25 vacation days per year
• Pension accrual of 23.4% of the pensionable salary
• 38 hours per week, flexible working hours, working hours from 07:00 to 15:30
