Hydraulic Mechanic

Can you handle high pressure, both literally and figuratively, and do you want to work with specialized hydraulics technology? We are looking for a hydraulics mechanic for a technical company in the port of Rotterdam, active in various industries. A challenging job among specialists, where no day is the same.

You will be working at a technical company that operates in virtually every conceivable industry — from small workshops to large factory halls, in construction workshops, shipping and on offshore platforms, in research and testing laboratories, power plants and chemical factories, the automotive sector and the materials trade. Wherever hydraulic power is needed, this company offers an effective solution with their products and system knowledge. Specialized techniques are used, and there is plenty of room for craftsmanship and deepening in the field.

As a hydraulic fitter, you will repair and assemble hydraulic pump units, cylinders, and systems — including piping and hoses — both on the shop floor and at locations in the Netherlands and abroad. You will work with hydraulic diagrams and apply your knowledge of hydraulics and proportional technology in practice. You work independently and with a customer-oriented mindset, and are flexible in deployment. The workweek consists of 38 hours, with flexible working hours and working times from 07:00 to 15:30.

• Repairing and assembling hydraulic pump units, cylinders, and systems
• Working with piping and hoses
• Performing tasks on the shop floor and at locations in the Netherlands and abroad
• Working with hydraulic diagrams
• Applying knowledge in hydraulics and proportional technology
• Working independently and customer-oriented

• Gross hourly wage: € 15.20 - € 21.26 (depending on experience and level)
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel allowance of € 0.23 per km
• Weekly payment

• Pension accrual of 23.4% of the pension basis
