For a universal car company in Zijtaart, we are looking for an auto mechanic who enjoys working on maintenance and repairs. Where you will work:

You will be working at a universal car company in Zijtaart, which has grown into one of the largest universal car companies in the region. It is a true family business with a long history and a warm, personal atmosphere. The team consists of several experienced mechanics, apprentice mechanics, damage repairers, and support staff, each with their own role within the company. Every day, work is done with pleasure on customers' cars, in an environment where colleagues know each other well and where new employees quickly feel welcome.

What you will do:

As an automotive mechanic, you perform maintenance services and diagnose and resolve issues with passenger cars or commercial vehicles. You replace parts such as brakes, tires, and timing belts, and read out cars using diagnostic equipment. If authorized, you also perform MOT inspections. Additionally, you inform customers about the work carried out, so good communication skills are important.

What we offer:
  • Gross hourly wage: € 16.73 - € 20.00 (depending on experience)
  • 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
  • Travel allowance of € 0.23 per km
  • Weekly payment
  • 24 vacation days per year
  • Pension accrual of 23.4% of the pensionable salary

What we ask:
  • Completed education, such as Automotive Engineering
  • Experience with maintenance and repairs of passenger cars or commercial vehicles
  • Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting
  • Driving license B
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Meticulous and quality-oriented, with good communication skills
  • Good command of Dutch and/or English language (spoken and written)
